Real-time DBMS replication solution 'DeltaStream' obtained first grade GS certification

DataStreams CEO Lee Young-Sang announced on the 14th of July that its real-time DBMS replication solution "DeltaStream v3" has obtained the first grade of GS certification from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA).

GS  is a national certification system that guarantees software quality excellence. Based on international standards, tests on functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, and security are conducted to comprehensively evaluate the quality of the product. Following this process, a certification review committee is held to decide whether or not to issue certification.

DeltaStream is a real-time DBMS replication solution. "Change Data Processing (CDC)" technology, which extracts DBMS' data change information and transmits it to the target system, is applied. This is implemented as a process of recognizing the change of the Redo log file in the source DBMS area in real time, transmitting it to a DeltaStream server, extracting the change data, and replicating it to the target DBMS. The ability to process change data quickly and accurately in real time is its core strength.

Since its launch in 2011, DeltaStream has secured stability by applying products to various areas such as finance, public sector, and manufacturing, said Kim Hyun-chul, managing director of DataStreams' product service division.
